2017 NATIONAL BUTTON CONVENTION

2017 Call for Donations and Volunteers

GOODIE BAGS

An enthusiastic team is working to assemble goodie bags for attendees. If you have a donation you would like included in the goodie bags, please contact Barbara Hoffman at bhoffman071@aol.com for instructions.  Supplies, buttons, and other items are most welcome! Dealers: here is a chance to include a business card with your donation and capture a new customer!

If you would like to financially support the goodie bag project, the team could use financial support to complete their fun plans for the enjoyment of all attendees. Financial donations can be made to the NBS Treasurer, marked for the 2017 Goodie Bag Project.

TWO Pokes:  Crafts and Collectibles

We are happy to announce that the Wisconsin State Button Society will offer attendees TWO HUGE pokes! We welcome your donations and help on site. The poke will not be open during judging or when the showroom is open, but will be available at other times to enhance your convention experience.

Start sorting through your buttons and gather donations for the poke boxes. One poke will feature CRAFT buttons, and a second poke will hold COLLECTIBLE buttons which will be sold for $1 per button. Your generosity is sincerely appreciated.

Bring your POKE DONATIONS to the NBS show, sorted as craft and/or collectible, or mail them ahead of time, to arrive prior to July 18th, to David Meicher, 1402 Dayton Dr., Janesville, Wi., 53546-1472.

If you are willing to serve at the poke table to help with sales or assist the shoppers, you can sign up by contacting Judy Winder by email winderj@sbcglobal.net or call 815-633-8122.

The enthusiasm at the Poke is invigorating! Poke shoppers certainly make new friends while enjoying the treasure hunt!
